Admission Process @ Kunskapsskolan Lucknow - Academic Session 2026-27

Registrations for the academic year 2026-27 are now OPEN for all grades (except Grade X and XII)

Kunskapsskolan believes that each child is different and can achieve more than they thought possible if their uniqueness is recognized and they are given the opportunity to explore it.

For the Pre-Primary Admission (2026-27) the following criteria of admission will be followed:-

There will be no interviewing or screening of children or their parents
The whole process will be fair, non-discriminatory and transparent based on first come first basis.
Admission will be based on the information provided at the time of registration and will have to be corroborated with documents attached with the form when submitted.

For Grade 1 onwards Admission (2026-27) the following criteria of admission will be followed:-

There will be Grade level readiness assessment for the child from Grade 1 onwards.
The whole process will be fair, non-discriminatory and transparent based on first come first basis.
Admission will be based on the information provided at the time of registration and Grade level readiness results will have to be corroborated with documents attached with the form when submitted.

Admission Procedure:

Step 1: Submission of the completed registration/ application form online.
Step 2: Intimation of the date of School Presentation/Interaction/Grade level readiness assessment from Grade 1 onwards via email.
Step 3: School Presentation followed by a school tour on the informed date and time (Virtual/Onsite basis the prevailing scenario).
Step 4: Student and parental interaction on an informed date and time (Virtual/Onsite basis the prevailing scenario).
Step 5: Confirmation of admission will be notified via email/telephone.
Step 6: Student admission, submission of documents & payment of fees (to be done within 3 working days from the date of announcement).

Age Criteria for admissions:

2 year as on 31st July for Toddlers for the academic session applied for.
3 year as on 31st July for Nursery for the academic session applied for
4 year as on 31st July for K1 for the academic session applied for.
5 year as on 31st July for Grade K2 for the academic session applied for
6 year as on 31st July for Grade 1 for the academic session applied for

While there will be no interviewing/screening of children or their parents, there will be an interaction with the School to corroborate the information provided by the parent.
Admissions are offered on the basis of a Points Criteria and are subject to seat availability. The points are determined through the information submitted to the School by the parent.

For Grade 1 to 12 Admissions:

While there will be no interviewing/screening of children or their parents, there will be an interaction with the School to corroborate the information provided by the parent.
There will also be a Grade level readiness assessment for the child.
The final decision of admissions is subject to availability of seats.

Admission Procedure:

While there will be no interviewing/screening of children or their parents, there will be an interaction with the School to corroborate the information provided by the parent.
Kunskapsskolan Lucknow follows a first-come, first-served admission process, subject to seat availability.

For Grade 1 to 12 Admissions, the following criteria will be followed:

Admission Procedure:

Step 2: Intimation by the School from 27th Oct 2026 on the date for:

Curriculum Counselling Session by the Leadership Team
School Tour
Intimation of the schedule and time slot for the student to be a part of the Immersion programme (optional)

To experience how the KED pedagogical approach personalizes the classroom engagements to build the skills in the child keeping the curriculum requirements on the core.

Interaction with the Head of School
For students seeking admission to Grade 1 to 11, a Grade Level Assessment will be conducted on the same date.

Step 3: The successful applicants will receive a communication from the Admissions Team via email from admissions.lucknow@ked.edu.in once the admission process is duly completed.

Step 4: Admission formalities to be completed by submission of documents and payment of fees to be done within 3 working days from the receipt of confirmation of admission via email.

Age Criteria for Pre-Primary Admissions:

2 years completed as on 31st March of the respective year for Toddlers
3 years completed as on 31st March of the respective year for Nursery
4 years completed as on 31st March of the respective year for Kindergarten-1
5 years completed as on 31st March of the respective year for Kindergarten-2
6 years completed as on 31st March of the respective year for Grade 1

(subject to change as per the State Government age criteria for the academic session 2027-28)
